Thala Ajith is back with a tough cop role in 'Yennai Arindhaal' Movie Review exclusively at way2movies.com . The much awaited combo is here and lets see if Yennai Arindhaal has the sensuous Gautham Menon's touch with Ajith's charismatic daredevil stunts.

Story:

Show begins with Thenmozhi [Anushka] prepping up for marriage looks. After making sure the groom run away along with his family in a disinterested way, Thenmozhi flight boards from Boston to Chennai. Struck with her co-passanger [Ajith] aka handsome Sathyadev's charm, Thenmozhi follows him and meets Sathyadev at a coffee shop in the town, where he was attacked by a gang of masked goons lead by Victor [Arun Vijay]. Injured Sathyadev asks Thenmozhi to accompany him to the hospital. Twist in the tale starts here with a flashback story involving Sathyadev, Hemanika, their daughter and Victor. Watch Yennai Arindhaal on big screens to know how GVM weaved the story among the four.

Performances:

Ajith has portrayed one of his best roles till date. Infact, as Sathyadev Ajith has performed a life time character, where he got to play various roles as a passionate lover, an upright cop and a doting father.

Trisha leaves you in awe with her befitting short and sweet role. Her chemistry with Ajith stands top and leaves an impact for the rest.

Anushka seems growing younger day by day. She has a fair share and did a praiseworthy job in a non-dramatic way. Her romantic portions with Ajith falls flat.

Arun Vijay is the other main pillar of Yennai Arindhaal. His macho physique and powerful looks makes him the perfect baddie to rub shoulders with Ajith, on-screen.

Parvathy Nair's role is noticeable among others, while Vivek evokes few laughter.

Technical Analysis:

Gautham Menon has to be appreciated for making an interesting movie that could make you sit for more than two and half hours on screen. There is nothing new in the form of twists and turns in the movie and is fairly predictable. Screenplay and dialogues are appreciable.

Harris Jayaraj's songs and background scores cemented the picture. Thanks to Gautham Menon for making songs part of the story.

Dan Macarthur has done a wonderful job. 'Mazhai Vara' is visually good, 'Unakenna Vendum Sollu' song looks colourful and 'Adhaaru Adhaaru' song makes you stand up and dance along with Ajith and Arun Vijay.

Anthony has done a fair job completing the work of everyone, yet a little trimming could make it crisper.

Analysis:

Yennai Arindhaal is an Ajith film through Gautham Menon's eye. A complete action entertainer with a perceive of romance. It is a well written tale that has few unresolved questions like 'why Arun Vijay revolt against Ajith' and Anushka's role is not so perfectly blend.

First half of the movie is fantastic with songs and poetic romance, leaving few instances for the second half. In the counterpart, Arun Vijay steals the show with his spellbound performance. Pre-climax episode hooks you to edge of your seats.

Overall, Yennai Arindhaal is the story of an upright cop, who is good at heart. Ajith's presence made it much majestic.

Final Verdict: Regal Cop with Affectionate Family...
