Here we go with quick crisp music review...

Song01: Oh Nanba

Singers: SP Balasubramaniam, Aaryan Dinesh Kanagaratnam

Lyrics : Vairamuthu

Rating: 3.5/5

Oh Nanba is a stunning start to Lingaa music album. SPB's singing has added the enough taste to the song along with Aaryan Dinesh's rap portions and chorus needs a special mention. Rahman chose to compose the song using Middle Western iconic tunes for some heavy dance moves. Sudiences will surely go gaga on Rajinikanth's presence int he track.

Song02: En Mannavva

Singers: Srinivas, Aditi Paul

Lyrics : Vairamuthu

Rating: 2.75/5

En Mannava is a lethargic melody tune that may not be appealing to all. Yet, the track has nothing less be it be orchestra or vocals. Srinivas and Aditi are best in their respective parts. En Mannava song might be shot between Sonakshi Sinha and Rajini in the pre-Independence era and their presence might bring the enough flavour.

Song03: Indiane Vaa

Singers: AR Rahman

Lyrics : Vairamuthu

Rating: 3.25/5

In the third song of the Lingaa audio album, Rahman planned to voice himself to bring out the right inspirational / patriotic feel. Lyrics by Vairamuthu take the center stage for its theme. At the same time, orchestration and chorus equally complement Rahman's rendition.

Song04: Mona Gasolina

Singers: Mano, Neeti Mohan, Tanvi Shah

Lyrcis : Karky

Rating: 4/5

Rahman appears to be back for his very fresh fans who are waiting for the very Rahmanish song for their Superstar. Mano is back with his playful vocals, there couldn't be a best second innings for the singer than 'Mona Mona Gasolina'. What a beautiful start to the song by Neeti Mohan and Tanvi Shah. Exquisite collaboration between singers. Rahman's instrumentation has done perfect justice to the funky lyrics penned by Madhan Karky.

Song05: Unmai Orunaal Vellum

Singers: Haricharan

Lyrics : Vairamuthu

Rating: 2.25/5

Unmai Orunaal Vellum is a heart melting track towards the end of Lingaa album. After rocking, Mona Gasolina song, listeners will not be interested in listening to such wearisome. Background score of the song sounds like Rahman's stock. Haricharan has delivered Vairamuthu's pathos lyrics with necessary soul.
