Producer Ramesh of STR starred Osthi fame has recently roped in sons of Karthik and Prabhu to replace their roles in the remake of yesteryears blockbuster Agni Natchathiram.

As way2movies reported viewers earlier, Ramesh has bagged the remake rights of Mani Ratnam directed Agni Natchathiram and the producer is keen to have Vikram Prabhu son of Prabhu Ganesan and Gautham son of Karthik in the lead roles, as he thought no one could fit the characters best, else zeroed in their sons. Ramesh is once again teaming up with Dharani, director of Osthi for this remake venture.

Interestingly Gautham and Vikram Prabhu are stepping into film industry in the same year 2012. Gautham is making his debut with Kadal in the direction of Mani Ratnam pairing opposite Thulasi Nair, while Vikram Prabhu is gearing up to screen his first movie Kumki directed by Prabhu Solomon and the music album of Kumki composed by D. Imman is a huge hit among the music lovers.

However viewers have to wait for the official announcement that will be made by the makers, once all the cast and crew are finalized.
