The most anticipated film, Sivaji 3D is slated for release on Rajnikanth's Birthday, on 12^th December. Earlier Sivaji 3D is premiered in Tokyo on Sep 15, which was been attended by Shriya, female lead of Sivaji 3D.

Written and directed by Shankar, Rajini’s Sivaji turned out to be a superhit at the box-office in 2007. Suman and Vivek played key roles in the movie, which enjoyed the compositions of AR Rahman. Seeking the fans craze for Superstar films, makers AVM Studios planned to release the 3D version of Sivaji.

Sivaji 3D is earlier planned to be released in Oct then pushed for Diwali. However, now AVM Productions banner has confirmed the release date to be 12-12-12, on the occasion of Rajinikanth’s 62^nd birthday.
