Kochadaiyaan is the upcoming 3D flick that stars Superstar Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles, which was earlier slated to hit the screens for Diwali, but got postponed now.

Debutant director Soundarya R Ashwin has helmed this Kochadaiyaan that is canned using Picture Capture Technology. The makers are busy with the post productions works of Kochadaiyaan and doesn’t want to remain any coin unturn for good quality, so have postponed the release date post Diwali. However no date is finalized yet.

AR Rahman is scoring the music for this period flick that showcases Rajini in dual roles and as an eighth century Pandya King. Eros Entertainment is producing Kochadaiyaan along with Media One Global Entertainment jointly that has cinematography by Rajiv Menon while story and screenplay is by KS Ravikumar among the technical crew.
