Actor Prakash Raj begins his 2012 in the studio to record the background score for his first directorial venture "Dhoni" with maestro. The movie is being produced by the actor himself.

"My day begins with the master.... Ilayaraja starts the Background score of "DHONI" my film....releasing this feb for you. Cheersssss!!!!" Prakash posted on microblogging site Twitter.

The sports themed film will be released in both tamil and Telugu languages. Dhoni has wrapped its shooting in Hyderabad, which also casts Mugdha Godse, Radhika Apte and Thalaivasal Vijay along with Prakash Raj.
