Vaalu is the upcoming rom-com featuring STR and Hansika as the lead pair in the direction of newbie Vijay Chandar. Vaalu is all set to complete its talkie portions apart from the song sequences.

Santhanam and VTV Ganesh are playing pivotal roles in Vaalu and the shooting is going on in fast pace in Hyderabad. Debutant director Vijay is canning the important scenes for the film and it is being reported that, all the talkie portions for Vaalu will be wrapped up in this schedule apart from songs.

S.S. Chakravarthy is producing Vaalu under Nic Arts banner, who is simultaneously producing STR’s gangster flick, Vettai Mannan. Thaman is scoring the music and background scores for Vaalu that is slated to hit the screens on Diwali along with Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s AR Murugadoss directed Thuppakki.
