Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s upcoming action entertainer Thupakki is being reported to be in last leg of its shooting schedules and the release date might be postponed.

According to the close sources of producer Kalaipuli S Thanu, “Thuppakki is done with the talkie portions and only 3 songs are remained to be shot.” AR Murugadoss is directing Thuppakki and is quite likely to release the movie on August 15 Independence Day, based on its theme.

However sources add that, “Audio of Thuppakki will be launched only after Aug 15 and the movie is sure to be a Diwali release." Thuppakki has music and background scores by Harris Jayraj, cinematography by Santosh Sivaa and editing by A Sreekar Prasad among the technical crew.
