Sony Music has bagged the audio rights of Podaa Podi for a best price and planning to release the album with 6 tracks soon. Dharan has composed the music and background for Podaa Podi that includes 2 songs crooned by STR himself, besides Yuvan Shankar Raja, Benny Dayal alongside Andrea Jeremiah and Vjaya T Rajendar has given vocals for one track each.

Vignesh Shivaa is helming Podaa Podi that showcases STR and Varalakshmi as parents to a just born baby. Smarth, the nephew of Simbu has played the baby boy to the lead pair in Podaa Podi. The movie is taking fast shape that casts Shobana and VTV Ganesh in the pivotal roles and Duncan Telford is cranking the camera for this film.
