Kollywood is marking a big time release for its K-town cine go watchers. The Tamil industry is releasing 20 films in 29 days in February.
This 2012 is the great year ahead for small Tamil films as TFPC has taken decision to release the big films only on 5 days in the year namely Independence Day, May Day, Tamil New Year, Pongal and Diwali.
February has 20 films seeing the day light only in 4 Fridays. This 3rd marks the first Friday of February 2012, which has Pandiraj’s Marina with Siva Karthikeyan and Oviya Helen in the leads. Besides this Sengathu Bhoomiyile directed by Ratnakumar, a noted rural milieu script writer that has tunes composed by Isaignani Ilayaraja with Pawan, Senthil, Priyanka and Sona Lakshmi in the cast. Besides this Prakash Raj’s Dhoni and 3D film Ambuli 3D are also releasing on 3rd.
Two noted films that cast Amala Paul in the female lead slated their release on February 17th. One is Siddharth’s Kadhalil Sodhapuvathu Yeppadi and Adharva starrer Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal. Along with these Padam Kuthu Kathai Sollu is also marking its release on third Friday.
The other films that will hit the screens in this February are Oru Mazhai Naangu Saaral on 10th, Aravaan on 15th, Virudhunagar Sandhippu on 15th, Sooriya Nagaram, Udumban, Attakathi, Mayilu, Kazhugu, Oru Nadigayin Vakku Moolam, Kondan Koduthan, Vazhakku Enn 18/19.
2012 February is a feast to Tamil film go watchers as they have many films releasing numbering 20 nearly. But we have to wait and see whether all these movies will get enough screens to exhibit their films.
