Lyrist Pa Vijay starrer Kalainagar Karunanidhi scripted ‘Ilaignan’ is going at brisk pace in Ooty. The film is being produced by Martin. Two lead heroines Ramya Nambeesan and Meenakshi are working hard like anything for the film. Vadivelu, Nasser and Suman are also playing prominent characters.
The actress Kushboo, who had recently joined DMK party, is also playing a key role that of a brave mother in the film. The movie is based on the famous Russian novel ‘Mother’ written by Maxim Gorky. The film is about the love between mother and a son. The movie will be filmed in Chennai, Pudhukottai, Ooty and Tirunelveli. The team will soon fly to Italy, Holland and Switzerland for the songs picturization.
